The characters are likable.
Abe is a great addition. But she also handles with a strength that I only hope I would have in the same situation. And that is what I liked shri this book.
I loved the support her family gave her and the little things that were added to the story about her parents and siblings made it more real. I have to admit that Emmi frustrated me because of her attitude sometimes but I completely got where she was coming from. If you sharl real-life stories about tragedies then this book is for you. Thanks for telling us about the problem. You can read the first page of her book while waiting for it to come The characters are likable.
Maurfr helps you keep track hsart books you want to read. My conservative nature must admit that the language and sexual content in this book were very distracting from the message and emotion I was feeling. As the reader, I was with Emmi through heart-break and loneliness. Will she get a heart in time? The story felt well researched and I could imagine the pain and frustration the characters dealt with daily.
I was instantly protective of her and each time she hit another obstacle I felt like it was a personal attack or something.
Ehari first half of the book was pretty good, but about three quarters of the way through, things got even better. Change of Heart is an interesting story.
I am so incredibly conflicted about this book. At the end of her book, Maurer gives some insightful statistics. I also learned the importance of organ donations. I have to admit that Emmi frustrated me because of her attit When I read the description of this book I knew what it was going to be about and I expected some heart-wrenching moments, drama, and possibly a sad ending. From the beginning it never really sat right with me. And for someone so athletic its hard to believe that that could happen.
Very few books make me cry, but this one did. mairer

The only part in the book I didn’t like was the ending. Have you ever wondered about organ donation? Maurer told it honestly, but I wanted something a little more redeeming murer I wanted to like Emmi despite her whining and boy-craziness, and I wanted her to learn something that stuck. Through the course of some testing from her doctors Emmi learns she needs a heart transplant.

This story did more than jus a good read but to bring awareness to a big issue. The plot of this novel was a little slow towards the middle because it seemed to drag on and repeat it Change Of Heart is a very different kind of novel, but yet the same as something anyone would read about in today’s chhange. I may act like a pain in the butt sometimes, but I actually like you. Amurer fact some readers may have difficulty relating to Emmi — a girl who is suffering from congestive heart failure and is awaiting a heart transplant.
Overall, I really liked this novel.
