After first acquainting myself with this author through his Genghis Khan “Conqueror” series, I had high hopes. Well worth 5 stars and a recommended read, This book fleshes out the possible early life of Julius Caeser in typical Iggulden style, full of action, adventure and possessed of a fine pace.
