From the beginning when the author is describing the MacBain boys and their propensity for trouble and bottomless stomachs to the very end when Finn proves he is still a Hotshot, I enjoyed every word. XD The side characters also nice.


Finn and his two brothers stole that portion of the story and I got a great sense ju,ie their family dynamics. During that time, Peyton has blossomed into a beautiful woman. They had fun with the neighbors as well.

I sat on a large dictionary — got up, looked up a word, sat back down. I loved this story because both Peyton and Finn are such strong characters. On the whole, I enjoyed this story, and I think any Garwood fan will too. I think it may just end up being one of my favorite of her contemporary books.

The only anything that has continued from that earlier book the only other one from this series that I’ve read is that characters in both books are with the FBI.

One of my favorite parts of the book is when Finn is interrogating a suspect and finds out someone tried to kill Peyton. Finn runs to the rescue when he bursts into the party knocking Mr Lockhart down in the process and dives into the pool and saves her.
