I have been reading BRAWN by Stuart McRoberts, and from his point of view I what gets lost with the typical mcrobert follower is the lack of. Stuart McRobert (born in England) is a writer on strength training, best known as the Brawn (); The Insider’s Tell-All Handbook On Weight- Training. I’ve known McRobert for nearly 25 years. I devoured his first book, BRAWN, the very evening it arrived in my mailbox all the way from Cyprus.

Louie Simmons is The Man. Anyone know what the difference is between the three editions of his ‘Beyond Brawn’ book? I found that this was completely true, I am constantly rereading sections that deal with whatever is going on in my training.

I’m advanced already so I went straight to Beyond Brawn. I read this book back inand it has formed the foundation for 20 years of lifting.
I’ve actually picked this book up only after reading Beyond Brawn – there is quite a bit of redundancy between the two books and if you are going to read just one, then you’re probably better off choosing Beyond Brawn. But I DO think his ideas are too conservative for most people.
