I just had to go back and keep reading this book. Not for punishment, thats just where she sleeps. For instance, Comfort Object was on the lighter end of the spectrum and Club Mephisto is on the more intense end.
The complete lack of Molly’s viewpoint left her as an even greater enigma at the end of the book than she was at the start as far as I was concerned. He subjects Molly to orgasm denial, speech restriction, scenes of erotic torment, even an orgy where she is made to service his friends.
