Lucius is not a Nighkeeper, but in a previous book a demon invaded his body, and as part of the exorcism, they tried to turn him into the Prophet, so he could gather more intel for them.

But what there was, more than compensated for the abundance of before-mentioned issues. It’s about functioning through the fear. Once you read one of the Novels of the Final Prophecy, you will thirst for more. However, I should probably take a break from these books for a while as the lore is quite heavy and for half the book I have no idea on what is actually happening.
