I like The Art of Magic T. It really is amazing to see the wealth of material available not just magic books — the selection of free material not to mention regular, for-fee material is staggering. Sachs’ Sleight of Hand contains effects that Malini would learn and perform. In the Chapter 14 you will find coin magic again, this time using various types of apparatus which will allow you to play on the stage. I particularly apprecated the fact that Dover kept the content exactly the way it is in the earlier editions, save for the typeface and the cover. Unfortunately, most used book stores are savvy to older magic books market, BUT you can still find some “WTF, how this get here and who would give it up! I very highly recommend this book because there is a lot of great material in here for beginners and even hadn performers alike. The fact that the material is easily downloadable and transferrable from device to device is awesome.

There are transpositions, color changes, transformations, mental selection divination and more. I bought this mainly because John Carney recommended it.

There is a nice variety of items to learn from this section, including a Cut and Restored String and a great bit with a borrowed wedding ring and a handkerchief.
