Wow, I loved it! How ironic is that? You certainly sound a hell of a lot better. The couple didn’t make me feel a whole lot, but they were nice together Posted at Shelf Inflicted I have a weakness for stories about lovers on opposite sides of the law. Very well-written from Noel’s POV, Icecapade is a really good and enjoyable novella that provides a well-drawn and interesting character Noel and plenty of plot to keep my interest.

Had worked hard to forget. I’m guessing they’ve butted heads more than a couple of times, but these two really want it to work, and that’s half the battle.

Icecapade is maybe not the best story I read from this author but really good enough. Oanyon loved this from beginning to end. It was close a few times, but backed off just in time. At this stage I’m used to being the odd one out when it comes to the author.

Lovely story, but the diamond in the picture would be grounds for divorce Icecapade Josh Lanyon 4.

They are probably my second favorites. So yeah, pick this up if you’re looking for a quick goodie.

There’s a knock on the door and – voila – Robert is there, asking Noel questions about copycat burglaries. The quirky neighbors of Noel’s come into play, the guys are talking, but Noel is skeptical. One of the things that Josh Lanyon does so well in his writing is present a relationship that has a huge dichotomy between the two heroes. But in the past ten years these two have had zero contact besides a single phone call each New Year’s Eve that Noel makes to Robert’s answering machine, so it is a complete surprise when Noel opens his door on Christmas Eve and finds Robert there.

Though Noel is apprehensive, there is no denying the attraction between the two men. I would recommend the book to all Lanyon fans. The Ghost Wore Yellow Socks. Would you like us to take another look icecpaade this review?

The vertigo had passed. I must be in a really good holiday spirit. Though he leaves Robert a drunken phone message every New Year’s Eve, Noel hasn’t seen or heard from him in a decade.
