However, at other levels, in conjunction with his blatant fundamental biases, Erickson takes on too much by trying to disseminate complicated aspects about Trinitarianism, the Deity of Christ, and the incommunicable attributes about God in squashed paragraphs. I am not going to add to the many positive comments on the content already posted except to note that I agree with most of them.
I needed the page numbers to read the original text from citations to this text found in papers. We are surely in his milladr. Rebought the newest version of Erickson. While there are room and need for enthusiasm of expression, and perhaps even an exuberance, that should never lead to a loss of respect.
The book covered all topics with great care and consideration. Robustly evangelical, essentially conservative, thoroughly contemporary, firmly Baptist, gently Calvinistic, and cautiously post-tribulationist premillennial, its fair-minded breadth and meticulous analysis of options have won it consistent praise. millarc
I had initially bought the Kindle copy in March but had to return it because it did not contain “real page numbers” even though it was advertised at that time that it did.

Introcuo comprehensive introduction is biblical, contemporary, moderate, and fair to various positions, and it applies doctrine to Christian life and ministry.
Erickson lives in Mounds Millard J. As the needs of the student changed over the years, various shifts in the culture and new doctrinal issues had arisen, and revision to the textbook resulted in second editions of each of these works—Christian Theology, second editionand Introducing Christian Doctrine, second edition Published April 1st by Baker Academic first published Lists with This Book.
