Open Preview See a Problem? I guess the formula is getting a little old. This book is going to give me nightmares for years! Anyway, everyone else loved this so read it. From the very first page you become hooked, it will take an enormous amount of effort to put the book down, even in the most gruesome and gory of depictions. Maybe we are just as sick as the Level 6 individuals of Dr. I don’t know about you but I love plots that realistically curve and twist so that you anticipate something happening then read a bit further and change your mind and then when you least expect it it pops back up in different way.
Far be it for me to tell an author what to write but I feel an obligation to point out three facts of nature The characterisation of the antagonists are horrifyingly illuminated and just their mere presence is enough to have your heart palpitating.
Just finished reading Trapped and I cannot get over how excellent it was. I found myself so wrapped up in the characters in this book that I actually cried in a spot.

So be warned, there is torture, cannibalism, and murder aplenty. Of the characters we were supposed to be rooting for I only found one Tyrone to be the least bit interesting.
It was fucking awful and a horrible miss. The Kilborn name denotes his horror novels; the Konrath name his thrillers.

A bunch of crazy cannibals have done this to him. Wells’ horror novel, apparently. The twists in the story are some of the best I have read.
Other books in the series. Books by Jack Kilborn. And I loved every single moment I spent frantically turning pages, just to see what terror awaited the unlucky campers on the island. I can agree with the latter. Intricately weaved plot that provided several surprising twists. This is a hundred times worse
