Sparks’s plot, though it lacks the satirical snap of her previous vamp novels, serves the romance between Angus and Emma well.
The psychic vampire sex is as hot as ever one of my favorite elements in this seriesand when they finally made it all the way, it was even better.

These things happen in every single scene from all three books in the series I’ve read. Chivalry was not entirely a popular thing amongst his people at the time of his vampirism.
Why or why not?
The narrator was quite good and her accents were ok. In fact, it is, in my opinion, the best book in the series to this point, owing in large part to its to-die-for hero. Emma try to trust Angus, and Angus try to protect her in all way.
She let our hero acknowledge our heroine as an equal. I like to listen to audio books as I drive, but don’t want something I haven’t read before, because I tend to miss stuff. Angus is totally kickass. Who was your favorite character and why? Angus is immediately besotted with Emma, a she-warrior that is much like him. The romance isn’t all that romantic particularly, but you did feel that the central characters have enough in common to make a go of it.
I enjoy Sparks’s writing and can’t wait to see what’s next!
Try the Kindle edition and experience these great reading features: Angus contradicts himself much throughout the novel, and his final actions in the end of the book annoy me to the bf where I just stop liking him. At least before I joined Goodreads. She finally has sex with him almost at the end of the book.
There may have been an accent which is debatable but her words were that of an average twenty-something American. I do like the effect hezrt cover gives off. Love at Stake 3.

Can she and Angus stay safe and happy, and will they get over their differences? Withoutabox Submit to Film Festivals. Though it should please her fans, Sparks’s latest probably won’t win her any new readers in a market saturated with vampire-human love stories. Inspired characters, great plot and good writing makes giving this book a 5 star rating a no brainer.
However, Shanna father, Sean, is still at it with his Stake-Out team. All in all, I liked it, and it will probably remain one of my favorites. The Villain sparkd I actually liked the villains in this one.
I really enjoyed reading the vampure between the Emma and Angus At the end, they get kidnaped by bad vampires and Emma heatr to be turn into vampire to still alive.

One of the things I love so vapire about this series is the multi-ethnic, international cast. Its a good news of course, because the vampire that got slayed is part 5 stars So far this one is my favorite books in this series, and I enjoyed it from the start until the end: I find this series has a great ensemble of characters and without them stilll characters that the individual books in the series focus on wouldn’t shine quite as bright without them.
They really add a lot of variety and flavor to the stories, and I’m very much looking forward to getting to know each of them better as I continue the series. Be Still My Vampire Heart has the weakest title in the series so far but it’s the best story. Fortunately, I have read the book and will be able to move on to the next book in the series without losing any continuity. Sure, he’s a sexy Highland warrior who seems to have stepped off ketrelyn cover of a romance novel, complete with brogue, kilt, and sword, but he’s also one of them.
In those moments, Heaft couldn’t help wishing she’d lighten up a little and just give in, but overall, she was a well-drawn heroine who Mu liked. She has a major bone to pick with the vampires, and thinking they’re all evil, she has been slaying in Central Park nearly every night.
Trying to convince Emma that not all vamps are bad turns geart to be a challenging proposition, but one that Angus whole-heartedly embraces. The only good vampire is a dead vampire. Angus has a humorous side too.
She sort of witnessed her parents’ murders at the hand of vampires. You should read this book.
It had a good plot.
